Recycled Spirits of Iron Sculptures – Daniel Klennert

Daniel Klennerts "Spirit of Iron" Sculpture Park is a "must visit" , especially if you in that area visiting Mt Rainier National Park, and come via ASHFORD, WA. It's right there by the main highway. The sculpture park is  titled Ex-Nihilo (pronounced "Ex Nee-Hill-o" - one of several ways to pronounce it according to Webster's!) which means something created from out of nothing in Latin. Ex-Nihilo is located right alongside State Route 706 on the way to the west entrance to Mount Rainier National Park in beautiful Washington State.  Dan Klennert's sculptures, Spirits of Iron, have been displayed all across North America. "Bloodline," his larger than life-size thoroughbred created almost entirely out of horse shoes, and "Cleopatra," a life-size mare welded together from bits of scrap metal, charmed thousands at the Thoroughbred Breeders Association Equine Art Show. "Oscar" the fish eighteen feet long and twelve feet high was the catch of the day at the Salmon Days Festival in Issaquah, Washington. "The Angel...

Beate Degen, Earth Worth Jewels, Bellingham, WA

EarthWorth Jewels and Beate Degen Born 1958 in Germany I was raised in the german tradition of duty, neatness and work. But also to enjoy food & drink after a hard days labor. I was trained as a preschool and kindergarten teacher and worked as such for 2 years. Than the spirit of the travel called to me , and I started to walk the Latin American Continent. With this the magic of art, music and the human spirit unfolded in front of me. For 4 years I traveled and learned in each country from the patient natives , who invited me into their lives and their art. I learned the true meaning of “ hand-made” since everything I owned, including my shop, had to fit into my backpack. This was my apprenticeship for the jewelry trade. Ever since I make my living creating and selling down to earth, fully handmade jewelry. Combining and blending the treasures of the Earth into a very unique...

The arts are very extensive and of varied genres. I found carvers, painters, potters, musicians, photographers, jewellers and more. I will show a small selection here and hopefully grow artists presence on artancraftconnection in the coming weeks and month, so visit here again. Tabora GalleryWaikiki The Tabora Gallery is situated in the main hotel and tourist district of Waikiki Beach, in the Outrigger Hotel Complex. About Tabora Art: Tabora's art strikes a cord deep within, sending us to a mystical place where our imagination is free to wander...
